Ghost Editing
Ghost editing is perfect for authors who’ve started their book, but no longer have the time to finish writing or to revise it themselves.
Ghost editing is also ideal for memoirists who want to take some emotional distance from their story.
And, ghost editing is sometimes the best way for neurodivergent authors to get the words out of their head and into a book.
Think of it as your personal concierge service for book revision.
First we’ll discuss what developmental work your book requires. We’ll map out its structure and evaluate what still needs to be written.
Once we’ve agreed on a plan, I take your complete or partial draft and do whatever is needed to pull it into a cohesive book. I complete all the revising and any rewriting for you. I’ll write missing transitions, sections, or whole chapters in your voice.
As the author, you stay in control, but this will be a collaborative process. We’ll have several in-depth conversations together while I’m revising your book. I use tracked changes so you can review what I’ve written, and we discuss, revise, and rewrite until you have the book you’ve envisioned.
This is a stress-free, streamlined way to get that book done.

Let’s have a quick video call to get to know one another before working together. You can tell me a bit about your book idea, and I’ll let you know how I can help.
Costs for ghost editing will vary depending on the initial condition of the manuscript and the finished word count. Once I’ve reviewed your draft, I’ll send you a custom project proposal. As an example, a 65,000 word book may range from $6,000 to $10,000.
